Copper

Copper is the primary conductor used in enameled wires, with great ductility, low electrical resistance (1,724 x 10-8 Ω.m) and a density of 8,89 g/cm³. Copper has great solderability and excellent electrical contact making the connections easier.

We provide a complete line of products in Copper:

Enameled Copper wires of round or rectangular sections with a complete selection of insulating films, with a Thermal Class from 105 to 240º. Typically used in motors, transformers, solenoids and general coils. Diameters range from 0.150 mm to 5.000 mm - 34 AWG to 04 AWG

Covered - Copper wires of round or rectangular sections insulated with fibers or spiral tapes. Commonly used in transformers, traction motors and generators.

Transposed Cable – CTC is a conductor formed of 2 parallel bundles of enameled flat wires where each single conductor occupies all possible positions along the cable length. The Transposed Cable may have from 5 to 61 single conductors. It is used used in Power and Distribution Transformers.

Bare Copper – Conductors with no insulation of rectangular or round sections for general usage.
